6. Automate your emails.

Get a good autoresponder like Aweber or Get Response. This will allow you to capture contact information from people who subscribe to your mailing list. They will also deliver automated messages for you which makes following up with your readers much easier.

7. Add content to your website.

Search engines love fresh relevant content. Add information or articles that contain good keywords which are relevant to the theme of your site. This will get you good listing results. You don’t have to write the content yourself, you can hire a ghostwriter or re-write PLR content.

8. Google Adsense.

Sign up to the program and you will be given a code which you then put on your website. Google will place targeted ads on your pages and you get paid when someone clicks on them.

9. Submit your site URL to the main search engines.

Start by submitting your site to Google, Yahoo and MSN to help you get free traffic. You can also get other similar sites to link to yours.

10. Article marketing.

Write lots of articles related to the topic of your website or the affiliate product you are promoting. Submit your articles to an article directory such as ezinearticles. They will allow other ezine and websites owners use it and it will include a link back to your website. Make sure you read the TOS of the directory before submitting.

So, there you have 10 quick internet marketing tips to help get you started. Once you find that one site or product is successful and you are making good money from it, ‘rinse and repeat’. Do it again and create multiple income streams. You never know if one slows down or loses popularity at least you will have more than one income to rely on.
