How To Become a Wealthy Affiliate

By Mary Gallivan

How do you really become a wealthy affiliate? It has been estimated that less than 5% of affiliate marketers actually make more than few dollars online. That vast majority of people also give up before they achieve any success. That is a sad statistic! But on a positive note it means that you can easily be one of the few that become wealthy through affiliate marketing. All you need is patience, persistence and a set of goals.

There are some well known steps in becoming a wealthy affiliate. Although there are hundreds of ways to earn money through affiliate marketing, some aspects are simply known to increase your chances of success dramatically. These include:

  1. Marketing to a niche where money is being spent

There is little point in trying to sell products in a market where no one is really buying. Many people make the mistake of thinking that because there is less competition in the niche of pink and blue bath sponges that they will ultimately be able to succeed in that niche due to lack of competition compared say with a multi-million dollar niche like bodybuilding.

In reality, you have more chance of becoming wealthy by promoting bodybuilding products because it is a niche that people are buying products in EVERY SINGLE DAY. All you need is a tiny piece of that pie and you can become very wealthy.

So rule number one in affiliate marketing is to go where the money is being spent.

You can judge a potential hot niche by the amount of money being spent on advertising. Are the Adwords ad columns full of ads? If so, there is money being spent there as Adwords advertisers simply do not run campaigns that aren’t earning them money.

  1. Relish the Competition

If a niche is profitable then it will have many people competing in it. You should be worried if you find a niche or product that has no PPC advertising and very few websites dedicated to it. Besides in rare circumstances, there’s a great chance that the niche is simply not profitable enough for people to bother. Instead of being afraid of the competition you should welcome it!

Competitors offer a fantastic way of helping you discover what works. If a site seems successful then modelling your site on theirs (not copying it) can cut out many months or experimenting on your part. If you think of your competitors as helpers rather than enemies you will become much more confident competing in hot niches.

These simple facts can make you a wealthy affiliate faster than you ever thought possible.

Don’t be a run-of-the-mill affiliate be a wealthy affiliate and click here now for everything you need to boost your income.

How To Be Wealthy - Working at Home With Affiliate Marketing

By Mary Gallivan

Working at home with affiliate marketing is a dream job. You can get up when you like, stroll to your computer and work for a couple of hours and then go out and enjoy the day. Later on you can work for a few more hours and then enjoy your night. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect life?! There are many people around the world living that exact lifestyle and you can do it too. Affiliate marketing has the potential to not only replace your full time living but to make you wealthy.

Working at home sounds fantastic but it can present some challenges such as:

  • Distractions from family members
  • Lack of distinction between work time and free time
  • Pressure to earn a certain amount of money to cover basic living costs

The above challenges are minor compared with the myriad of benefits from working at home with affiliate marketing. These include:

  • Being your own boss and having no one to answer to
  • Freedom to create your own business based around your interests
  • Unlimited income potential; there is no glass ceiling here!
  • Ability to choose your own hours
  • Spend more time with your family and doing the things you enjoy

Put simply, affiliate marketing allows you to work to live, not live to work. People who work full time are often so depressed and tired that they have little time or energy for anything else in life. Do you call that living? I know I don’t! Life should be about having enough money to enjoy the things that you love such as spending time with family, travelling and enjoying the outdoors. Who wants to be cooped up in an office all day?!

Nonetheless it is very easy to slip into a workaholic lifestyle with affiliate marketing. Simply because the income potential is limitless it can be difficult actually stopping yourself from working! Most affiliate marketers also enjoy their work so much that it is not a chore to be at it for 16 hours per day. This may suit you but remember that you need to enjoy your life away from the computer too so it is important to strike a balance between work and leisure time.

How wealthy can I get from affiliate marketing?

Some people make over a million dollars per year (some much more) whilst others simply make a few extra hundred per month. The great thing about affiliate marketing is that you are in complete control over how much time you put into it and ultimately, how much you earn.

Affiliate Marketing - Avoid These 4 Common Article Marketing Mistakes

By Mary Gallivan

For Affiliate Marketing or Internet Marketing in general the purpose of writing articles is to drive traffic to your site.

Your article needs to be informative and catch the readers’ attention so they click on the link to your site from the resource box.

To benefit from your articles you should avoid these 4 common article marketing mistakes or the chances of your readers clicking on the link in your resource box are very limited.

1. Not using a good title.

This is probably the most important. If the title does not grab the attention of the reader it is unlikely to get read in the first place. Offer a solution to a problem or provide a benefit to the reader. Get them intrigued and wanting to know more.

Instead of How To Cure Acne use something like - How To Cure Acne Using 3 Easy Steps To Clearer Skin In Less Than 7 Days.

2. Using poor information in the resource box

The resource box is used to persuade the reader to visit your site. You want them to click on the link to your site where they can get more information and eventually order your product. Make sure you use the full URL to your site, including the http:// as people are looking for quick resources. If they are unable to simply click on a link they will likely move on. Usually the article directly software will activate the link, if the http:// prefix is not included it may not be active if your articles is used by other readers in ezines, for instance.

3. Using poor information in the bio

The bio is the place where you can sell yourself. Don’t include information like Joe Blogs lives with his wife and 3 children in California. He enjoys ….So what? Your readers don’t want to know that. They are only interested in themselves and what’s in it for them! By all means include your experience in the field you are writing about

4. Overuse of keywords

The aim of your article is to write for your readers and not for the search engines. An article that is crammed with the same keywords or keyword phrases makes a dull read for your reader. Use your keywords and/or keyword phrase in the title, first sentence and the conclusion. It is not necessary to include it much more than that.

Do everything you can to avoid these mistakes. Take your time to read the guidelines for each of the article directories that you are submitting to, so as not to break the rules. Write for your readers as if you were talking about your subject over a cup of coffee with a friend.

When you have finished writing your article re-read it and correct any spelling and grammar mistakes. If done properly you will soon see results from your efforts.

If you are serious about making money online and want to be successful then you will find everything you need at this site which you should bookmark and visit regularly as it is updated frequently. click here to get started with the basics and find out more.

Making Affiliate Marketing Easy - Start With A Plan

By Mary Gallivan

You can make Affiliate Marketing easy if you use a marketing plan. A marketing plan is part of your business plan and is the foundation of your business. It is where you set the goals and objectives of your business and considers a number of points. Having a clear plan will help you stay focused on the direction you want your business to take.

There is no magic formula for a marketing plan/business plan. What works for one business may not necessarily be the best plan for yours although there will be many common points.

Some of the points you need to highlight in your plan include:

1. What product/s you are going to promote?

2. What type of customer will you offer the product to?

3. Who your competitors are.

4. What type of customer service you will provide.

5. How you are going to promote your product - article marketing, ppc, etc.

6. How much time you will spend on promoting your product.

7. If you are promoting products for more than one niche, how will you divide your time?

8. What is your budget, if any, for marketing?

If you don’t have a budget, don’t give up. There are ways of promoting a product without having a budget. As time progresses and you start to make money then you can adapt your plan to take into account any changes you decide for paying for your marketing.

When you start writing your marketing plan you will ask yourself many questions and these will help define the path you will take. Think in terms of these questions being the building blocks of your business. They may change as your business becomes more successful.

Writing your first marketing plan may seem a bit overwhelming but persevere. Nobody need see it but you so there won’t be anyone to criticise it, say it is right or wrong or any other such comment.

There is no right or wrong to this. This is your business and your plan and you are the expert in knowing what you want from your business, the direction you would like to take and the projected future growth of your business.

When you have completed your plan you will feel a sense of accomplishment for your efforts and have a much clearer view of your business objectives.
